#23: Hailstorm and no Internet

WASSUP! 

Oh my goodness what a nutty week!!

Alright, so here is what happened...

On May 21st, which was Saturday, around 3 PM my town gets hit by a freakin hailstorm.

Oh my gosh, I was at work when it happened!

Around 2 PM, it was still a long way off, but I figured something was about to happen.

So, I spent an entire hour outside bringing in all of the shopping carts and as soon as I was done, the sky goes dark and I could literally see the storm coming, this storm that I saw would give you the feeling that it isn't an ordinary thunderstorm. 

It was 10 minutes later that the storm hit the city and it brought wind, rain that rained sideways, and hail in some parts of town got bigger than golf ball-sized hail.

It was pure luck that my home wasn't hit by the storm(my home was hit by a hailstorm last year and shredded my neighborhood apart and were still cleaning up from it), and my workplace only saw pea-sized hail.

Unfortunately, the west and the north part of town took on the golf ball-sized hail and leaves are everywhere and this one grocery store has a leaking ceiling in it, wow.

Just when I was about to calm down at home, my modem died. 

So, this weekend I had no internet, how was I still commenting on DA without my computer? That would be my smartphone, but I hopefully won't use it again. I decided to try watching movies on my new movie-player I got for Christmas, and played games on the Playstation 3 (no Playstation 4, I think it won't work without the internet).

My parents came home from their trip this Monday and my father figured out that the hailstorm may have knocked out our whole network and we just had to reconnect it. After I got home from work Monday night, I had internet Yay! 

Ugh, what a tipsy turvy week, I still have bad internet sort of, but better than no internet.
